Little Cheryl Thriving in Her New Family

Our team has just returned from Tororo, near the border with Kenya, where they went to see how little Cheryl has been getting on with her new family. A month after the bonding process began, we were very pleased to find a happy little girl who has adapted very well to her new environment, has made friends and looks healthy. She has even become friends with the family dog, which she was scared of a month ago! Cheryl was adopted after an appeal through our Ugandans Adopt campaign. Her parents say they have big dreams for Cheryl, because they can see that a child as emotionally intelligent as her can offer a lot to the world.
