“What does the ‘i’ stand for in Child’s i Foundation?”

The ‘i’ stands for ‘interactive’. We want supporters to interact with the charity, talk to us, read our blog posts, watch the videos, join our networks etc.

But ‘i’ also stands for individual contribution. It is all about giving what you can.

So many of you have already given your time, love or money and we are so grateful. We would love you to show your friends and family that you have made a difference, that you have helped towards building a babies’ home in Uganda.

Hey team! I’ve been having a think about a slogan for the foundation and discovered it to be quite an addictive past time! I’ve started a discussion topic on it so other people can contribute, and hopefully between us we’ll come up with something fantastic (and a little smug feeling that we chipped in without actually doing much at all!) anyway, take a look, see what you come up with! x

It is absolutely brilliant.  It was designed for free by Bruno at Endemol GFX and Andrew (Head of Creative, Endemol Digital). We have spent the last few months going through the design process. They’re used to designing TV titles and graphics to very tight specifications, so my brief of “A logo which doesn’t look too charity, nor too corporate, and feels warm and engaging, but not too childlike” was an interesting one, to say the least.

Everyone is really pleased with the final product. Here are some of the sites that provided inspiration…homemade, collaborative, non-glossy, non-corporate, ingenious, interactive, fun…
