So Christmas is nearing and what an exciting few months its been for Child’s i Foundation. Most notably, as a community we managed to raise the target amount to get Lucy and the team out to Uganda to start this incredible project. Our supporters have been out in force over the last few months continuing to spread the Child’s i message as well as some festive cheer. With Christmas coffee mornings, festive walks and bucket collections your on going support has been incredible.
Some big thank yous
Thank you to TV Production company, Endemol and organisers Bryony Weaver and also Nic McNeilis, for raising a massive £5000 with their innovative Christmas party “Endemol’s got Talent”. Presented by Nathalie Pinkham, hundreds of Endemol staff had the grueling task of choosing between a number of acts. “Fur Coat, No Knickers”, below, were crowned winners at the end of the evening.
Thanks also to Jess Thompson and Emma Blake for organising The Ice Party in Tunbridge Wells. 60 people turned up for sparkly festive fun raising a wonderful £453.20.
We also had some A-list support from our favorite Tweeter the legendary Stephen Fry who bought a brick for £100 – do check our festive Christmas bricks for those last minute Christmas purchases for family and friends. Or alternatively if you would like to donate the Child’s i Foundation project in Uganda this is our perfect gift for Christmas.
Happy Christmas Everyone!
