We had another great meetup with some of our volunteers and supporters last Tuesday evening at the Spread Eagle pub near Bond Street – thank you to supporter Nerys Nicholls for organising the evening.

Meetup: Return from Uganda
The focus of the meetup was to recap on the team’s recent trip to Uganda, our care model, prevention and rehabilitation scheme and the next steps for Child’s i Foundation.
We are so proud and excited about the goals for this charity and the recent planning trip confirmed how crucial our project is. The short term goal is to get back out to Uganda and get underway. We’ve done the talking, now it is all about the doing.
In 150 days we need to raise £185,000.
This is no mean feat but if we stick to our plans we can do it. We are calling out for people to get involved – we need people to give their time, love and money to make this happen. We want everyone to realise their individual contribution is important to us, to the outcome of this project, however large or small.
So let us know if you want to donate some of your time (we have plenty of volunteer positions ranging from 2 hours per week to full time activity), give us some love by telling your friends about us and keeping up to date with our latest news and activities and HELP US RAISE THE MONEY WE NEED.
Lucy Buck kicked off proceedings by jumping out of a plane on Saturday (video footage to follow), but you don’t need to indulge in those levels of lunacy, there are plenty of other ways of raising money from cutting your hair (nice one Tate), or running, hopping, jumping, riding, skiing, cycling etc. to holding an Undress for Uganda evening with your friends (or simply by sponsoring someone else to do any of the above).
If you missed the meetup presentation on Tuesday – a condensed version is below.
